Incortel is a company with 36 years of experience in real estate development and real estate market. Incortel has around 2000 hotel units in different parts of Brazil and over 1000 residential and commercial units. The company developed different club condominiums in the residential segment, equipped with a large leisure and recreation area. The apartments, of medium and high standard, stand out for their different comfortable and functional layouts. In partnership with the French group Accor, Incortel developed the brand Ibis and Mercure in several Brazilian states. In 2011, Incortel became the exclusive developer of the American hotel chain Best Western in Brazil and, this year, the partnership was also extended to Portugal. The hotels developed with Best Western include the Fashion Hotels (by Lenny Niemeyer and Gloria Coelho), which were pioneers in Brazil, combining fashion designers with hospitality in a unique concept.

Mariana Guimarães Merçon holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo (UFES – Brazil), as well as a Specialisation in Architecture and Sustainability and a Master’s Degree in Architecture, Energy and Environment, both from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC – Spain). She develops projects in the corporate, commercial, residential and hospitality areas, besides consulting services in Sustainable Architecture.
